Wolfburn’s third small-batch release is limited to less than 300 bottles for Australia, and what an exceptional wee dram it is. Crafted from unpeated spirit, it has been matured for around four years in a combination of half-size, first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill, Oloroso sherry hogsheads. Thanks to the rapid maturation from the small barrels, the resulting whisky is rich and complex in flavour, with a beautifully sweet and aromatic nose and a lingering finish.
