Each year, Wolfburn bottles a limited run as a collector’s Christmas Edition, and this is the third we’ve received in Australia and we believe it might be their best yet. The 2022 release has a little more peat than previous renditions, the smoke overlaying Wolfburn’s traditional sweet and gentle flavours, lending a beautiful depth. Reaping the benefits of more years in the trade, this release is also the oldest festive bottling yet at just a shade over seven years of age. It was matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and second-fill quarter-casks.
